Most news about high-end wines has been grim lately. In the era of Furlough Fridays and wage freezes, who's going to plunk down $100 or more for a bottle of fermented grape juice?
Marcus Graziano of Capitol Cellars in Roseville still banks on these rarest of wine consumers. Some are customers who come by his shop, but many of those seeking expensive "cult wines" hail from across the country and Asia. His clients have included basketball great Karl Malone, and Graziano has even sourced wines for U.S. Senate receptions.
